My favourite celebrity

A celebrity (or celeb) is a person who is famous or recognized in a society or culture. The word derives from the Latin celebritas, from the adjective celeber ("famous," "celebrated").


Who is the celebrity you like the most?

What is he/she like? (Write a short description)

What does he/she do in his/her life? (What is his/her job?)

Why do you like him/her?

What are the main facts of his/her life? Tell us about:

- Where and when he/she was born

- Where he/she spent his/her childhood

- At what age he/she started in his/her profession

- What his/her main successes are

- If he/she is married with or without children


Task 1: Create a blog and write about your favourite celebrity. The questions above will help you. Then look for a picture or a video (in YouTube and similar) of the celebrity, paste it there and describe what is happening in the picture/video. Max.: 15+5 = 20 lines. Please write your name at the beggining. Once your blog is created, link it to my blog. I will give you the username and password to be able to do so.



Task 2: Choose 5 other celebrity blogs from the list you and your pals have written in my blog, and insert your comments about that celebrity, basically if you like him/her o not, and why.



Task 3 (Optional): You can put more information, pictures, videos, comments, or news as the year goes by. That way we will know more about him/her and what he/she is doing until the end of the course.



If you have any technical problem to do the task, please let me or one or your friends know to help you. If some of you coincide in the celebrity chosen, and cannot choose a different one for yourselves, let me know and will help you to decide.
